Andrea is a senior at Meredith College majoring in Music Performance, concentrating in flute. A native of central North Carolina, she has been playing flute for eleven years and hopes to earn her living as a studio teacher, pit orchestra player, and freelance performer. She is also minoring in Professional Writing and Presentation Media, having already published two young adult fantasy novels (which can be found here!)

The purpose of this blog is to document her daily life as a college senior in a way that will offer advice and show what it really means to be a music major. Andrea wants to help high school graduates and college undergrads get a closer look at the college music experience.
